Today is a day when we show respect to our fathers and honor them for their hard work.

Fathers have a very important role as the head of the family. (When no father is present, mothers take on this role, but it is primarily the father's role.)

The following excerpt comes from an essay titled "How to Civilize a Child" by legendary author (and father of 4) Orson Scott Card-

"The fact is that children respond differently to fathers. I don't know a mother who hasn't had the frustrating experience of pleading, arguing, yelling, begging, threatening, even bribing to get a child to do something only to have the father come in, speak once, and immediately get the obedience that the mother could not get no matter what she did.

The youngest infants respond differently to their father's voice. They turn to their mother for comfort. What they crave from their father is judgment. They fear their father's disapproval; they long for their father's praise. This means that an ounce of discipline from the father can be more effective than pounds of it from the mother, though this varies from child to child..."

These artistic processes take considerable time to get them just right, so we thank you continually for your patience and support in these matters.

A new Very Important Policy:
Just like Tom Foss would be protective of Kyle and Jessi, and other Kyle XY protagonists, KyleXY.net is highly protective of the cast members. We don't trust people or websites who claim to know "new" things about the cast members without seeing some credentials first. (It's a standard safety precaution.)

So, if you have a website dedicated to a particular cast member, and if your website has actually been acknowledged by that particular cast member via their email or their official website, please send an email with your website link and proper verification of cast member acknowledgment to beth@kylexy.net and we'll be very happy to list you as an affiliate of KyleXY.net.
