He is the youngest of three children with an older brother and sister. Some of his hbbies include movies, music, reading, cooking, and sports. He likes to play golf (he has a 12 handicap according to www.nicklea.com), tennis, soccer, rugby, skiing, and basketball. Apparently he also sings very well and used to front a band called Beau Monde.

Leah grew up in Kamloops, British Columbia. She trained to be a dancer but she was forced to change her plans when she broke her back in a car accident at the age of 16.
In her final year at school, as the dance team travelled to an international competition, she went to Costa Rica. This was the first stop on a backpacking voyage through 36 countries over eight years.
